Dance The Night Away At the Brisbane Night Clubs

One of the things that Brisbane is most proud of is their night club scenes. Most of the clubs are open from Thursday to Sunday nights, they charge between $7 and $25, and are adamant about checking ID. The nightclub scene is located int he Valley and attracts a mix of all sexual preferences.
Family: Located on McLachlan Street in Fortitude Valley, is one of Brisbane’s best nightclubs, with outstanding music. Family excites dance fans each weekend with there four levels, two dance floors, four bars, four themed booths and state of the art sound system. Family is frequently visited by elite DJs from around the world, including Baby Gee, an award winner for his unique mix sounds.
Monastery: If you head to Ann Street, in Fortitude Valley, you can visit the newly refurbished Monastery nightclub. Inside it has an iconic plush design, Gothic lighting, and articulate soundscapes. It truly is like a Monastery once you step inside!
Fringe Bar: While on Ann Street there is also a groovy 70’s place called Fringe Bar. Thursday nights is one of the most popular nights for the younger crowds, as from 8pm until 10pm local city bands perform live, from there the DJ plays some funk house and electro until the wee hours of the morning. If you are look for more of the Top of the Pops era you will want to visit on the weekend instead of Thursday.
Uber, Boundary Street, WestEnd: This is Brisbane’s latest club.Uber is cool indeed and has very stylish decor and patrons to match. It is a bit over the top decadent like an old style boutique hotel with brushed steel and polished dark wood. The music varies but weekends are dedicated to pure main room House music. The best thing about the plush cocktail bar is the balcony as it is perched in prime viewing position over the comings and goings of the heart of the West End.
Beat MegaClub: This is also located on Ann Street, and frequently mostly by the gay and lesbian population; although all are welcome. It is an awesome club with five dance floors, six bars and hr core techno music. It is the perfect place for all dance fans and they also have a regular drag performances.
