Avoid Hassles When Travelling To Mexico

If you are looking for a holiday spot to visit in your free time, mark your destination as Mexico. With its beautiful beaches and bustling night life, the country is perfect for a long holiday. Before visiting Mexico, make sure that you have with you, important information about the country.
Here are few things that you should do to make your trip comfortable:
Language Barrier
Since Spanish is the most spoken language in Mexico, it is vital to learn it before you go there. You will find many people communicating in English as well, but learning Spanish will allow you to explore the country better. You can even keep an English/Spanish dictionary with you while visiting the country.
Present Your ID proof wherever required
Ensure that you have a photo ID proof with you. It can be anything like a passport, driver’s license, tourist card and your proof of citizenship. Present them when asked by the Mexican Authorities
Belongings
Make note of the following things that can be carried by you during your tip to Mexico:
* Used sporting equipment
* Books to read
* Medicines and prescriptions
* Clothing, toiletries and shoes
* Cassettes and records, maximum 20
* Any musical instrument
* One portable TV with VCR and one typewriter
* Skiing, fishing equipment along with tennis rackets
* Alcohol-containing beverage, not exceeding three liters, and 50 cigars or 400 cigarettes for tourists over 18 years of age
* One video camera
Fill All Necessary Forms
Before going to the country, it is mandatory to fill two forms using a black ink pen. The first form is for a temporary visa and will be distributed at airline ticket counters or in the airplane. The second one is Hacienda, meant for Customs and Taxation.
Carry Mexican Peso
Have some Mexican peso in your pocket for places, where American Dollars are not accepted. You can pay through MasterCard, Visa and AmEx credit cards and traveler?s checks as well.
Stay Clean
It is very important to take care of the hygiene factor while on trip. Don’t drink the tap water in fact, go for bottled water or sufficiently boiled water. Even before eating any fruit and vegetable, it is important to wash these in a purifying solution. Peel them first and then cook.
Keep Photocopies
Carry photocopies of tickets and a list of traveler’s check with you as well.
