Monterey is a fun vacation spot and there are plenty of Monterey hotels that offer excellent accommodation. Monterey is along the central coast of California just south of San Francisco. It has a world famous aquarium, beautiful beaches and a historic downtown area. There is some world renowned golf close by as well as some excellent wineries.

The Portola Hotel & Spa is also located on Cannery Row and is very close to the Monterey aquarium. The Marriott at Monterey includes conference space and a day spa. It is very close to many of the popular attractions in Monterey. This hotel is close to the Del Monte beach and has its own outdoor pool. There are many activities available nearby such as bike trails, hiking, snorkeling, tennis, sailing, scuba diving, horseback riding, kayaking, and surfing.

The Hotel Pacific is a beautiful hotel that was built in the adobe style, much more reminiscent of the more historic buildings found in Monterey. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with many fountains. Each rooms comes with a feather bet, wet bar, fireplace and terrace or balcony.
