For the collector, the works of local artists can also be found in the string of art galleries at the New Farm end of Brunswick Street.

Another cultural precinct is the Powerhouse Centre for the Live Arts at New Farm, featuring innovative performances in two theaters. Punters can try their luck at the Conrad International Treasury Casino. Open 24 hours a day, it is located in a restored historic building in the city.
