Cheap Holidays in Cuba

Probably you have been searching for some cheap Cuba holidays options already and you have not been very lucky. I intend to give you some tips on how to safe money before you book you package holidays to Cuba.
One of the most expensive parts of your holidays in Cuba is definitely the transfers and almost all tour operators will include taxi transfers in their packages Taxis as you can appreciate are the most comfortable but also the most expensive way of touring around Cuba.
In this respect my advice is to take Viazul buses if you are travelling on a budget. With terminals in almost every location in Cuba Viazul can safe you hundreds of pounds or CUC’s
For the sake of comparing let’s take for instance a taxi transfer from Havana to Trinidad. This is a common combination that most tailor made tour operators use on their packages. A taxi from Havana to Trinidad costs around 150 GBP or 200 CUC and a ticket with Viazul cost just 25 CUC.
Just imagine how much money you could be safe if you were to visit places like Havana, Vi?ales Valley, Cienfuegos, Santa Clara or Trinidad. Very easily the amount of money safe could be around 800 CUC if instead of taking taxis you use VIAZUL terminals.
The coaches are very comfortable and come in different sizes. They are normally equipped with TV, WC, air conditioning and even catering for the longer journeys.
Most people willing to travel to Cuba don’t know how large this island really is. Cuba stretches for over 1200 Km from East to West. Journeys like Havana to Trinidad take around 5 hours none stop by taxi.
Just one point I want to make clear though which is the fact that VIAZUL alternative will never be as comfortable as the taxi option but hey! We are looking at cheap options here not VIP service.
